I believe all women deserve support and guidance, particularly when it comes to our health & fitness. This is such a sensitive area in a woman’s life and women should not ever have to feel ashamed, embarrassed or humiliated. I believe that we are all able to get amazing results with the right support and guidance.
I understand how frustrated you are that you just can’t quite seem to get the weight loss results you want even though you do the right things …
I know that you sometimes stress about your diet .. are you eating the right things, at the right time, counting all the calories gets incredibly exhausting!
Does the “fitspo” on social media these days annoy you or make you feel bad about yourself, rather than actually inspire you or motivate you?
Are you so busy with work, kids and family that you don’t always have time to workout or cook a gourmet dinner? Sometimes, even thinking about a workout or getting dinner prepped is enough to be exhausting, right!
I get it .. I’m answering YES to all of these questions! I understand exactly how you are feeling!
But, I want you to know that even though you work long hours, have a tight budget, and don’t always have the motivation, there are little things that you can do each and every day to look and feel fit strong, healthy, confident and be the amazing woman you are!
I want you to know that you can balance all your roles .. mother, wife, taxi, chef, ringmaster!
I have worked in the health & fitness industry for quite some time now primarily training women. What I have noticed is that we still have a hard time doing the little things for our health & fitness, and not feel guilty about it.
I have also noticed that many of my clients over the years have not always had the support they would like … from friends, family or society.
I have even had clients tell me that previous PTs have made them feel inferior .. because they can’t do a certain exercise, they don’t follow a certain diet, even because of the way they look!
That is not me .. I am not about that at all .. I have always been, and will continue to be my clients biggest cheerleader.
My number one goal for creating this group is to provide advice, support and guidance. The group is for women only, so that we can be there for each other, to support and encourage each other. To inspire each other and be inspired. To share and celebrate our successes. To learn to be confident again! We understand each other like no one else can! And we all need a cheerleader sometimes! Especially when we forget how amazing we really are!
The number on the scales or the number on your clothes tag does not represent who you are. Nor is it representative of your health & fitness or ability. The muffin top that you may have does not signify that you are not worthy.
You should be proud and confident of yourself and your abilities.
Sometimes it’s hard to believe in yourself, I know, but with practice you will start to believe and learn to love and accept yourself! Perfect imperfections and all!
I want you to get excited about taking some time out for yourself, to look after yourself and do nice things for yourself .. and feel good about doing it, not guilty about it!
I know that your health & fitness is important to you and it is never too late to do something about it!
